Who we are
My name is Ben, and I own Oak & Grace along with my wife Trina.
My career started the old-fashioned way — as a carpenter’s apprentice — and it’s that hands-on foundation that shapes everything I do today. With more than two decades of experience in residential building, I have learned every stage of a project from the ground up: framing whole houses with an eye for structure and efficiency; designing and constructing outdoor living features such as decks and pergolas that stand up to time and weather; and transforming interiors through thoughtful, detail-oriented remodels.
What sets me apart is the combination of practical craftsmanship and professional rigor. I hold a General Residential Contractor license from the International Code Council and maintain the necessary licenses across the various jurisdictions in the Denver area, so clients can trust that my work meets both local regulations and industry standards. I’m equally comfortable interpreting architectural plans, coordinating subcontractors, or standing on the job site solving the unforeseen problems that inevitably arise.
My wife Trina participates in the operational details, communication and provides valuable insight into creative design. She has a unique eye for composition and color, a meticulous attention to the details and thrives when thinking outside of the box. Oak and Grace wouldn’t be what it is today without everything that Trina brings to the table.
Clients appreciate our clear communication and steady presence. We listen to homeowner goals, try to come up with practical options, and anticipate issues before they become delays. Whether advising on material choices to balance durability and aesthetic, or offering cost-effective alternatives that preserve design intent, we focus on outcomes that are beautiful, functional, and long-lasting.
Outside of the job site, I stay current with building codes and emerging construction practices, which helps me deliver projects that perform well over time.
We look forward to working with you!
